Day Challenges are paused, with big thanks to @ddd4, @chriscocreated & @mxvoid (your splits live on!) for being a huge part each day.
They were meant to show before we told, but it is clear we need to do some telling and showing of our own talents, so more creatives feel excited and enticed to join.
We are currently working through a series of 9 connected stories to help kids prepare for the modern world. In a month’s time every holder of a Forest Series Key (You can buy a key here: key.filmatree.xyz) will get a preview of the first few books, their illustrations and get first preference for joining this vision - everyone involved gets rewarded transparently and fairly. But before that:
In the coming weeks we’ll be releasing some remixed classic kids stories for any parent to read with their kids this summer for free, downloadable on filmatree.xyz and Apple Books. A little appetizer ahead of an EP release, ahead of the main course 9 story book album.
We’ll also cover more of our perspectives as a tv show creator and former ghost writer (@TCW) + a filmmaker and artist collective leader (@TFM).
Our experience informs what we've created: more creator ownership with direct relationships to audience so the lawyers, accountants and executives can be cut out of the middle.
Finally we’d like to interview and showcase any artists, writers or creators on Warpcast that’d like a highlight, to show what we are working towards: a new kind of collective in the face of ever increasing competition from AI & increased pressure form the non-creative middlemen.
We have 10 interview spots available right now, reply below with what you’re looking to showcase:
We will keep working on this until we get this right. Coming from a world of working on everything in secret to secretly present to executives is a big adjustment to building in public. Thanks to those that have supported us so far and welcome to those who’d like to join the journey.
With sincerity,
TFM & TCW
