Crypto Snapshot (2024-11-05)

This is a snapshot of crypto assets I'm tracking as we head into the last couple months of 2024. It is not comprehensive and is biased towards the assets I'm actively paying attention to. I may or may not be holding them depending on the day. None of this is a recommendation to buy or any form of financial advice.

Historically I've mainly tracked Bitcoin and Ethereum, but Solana has made a great comeback and many are touting it as "the next big thing" so here we go.

Once again, I'd like to be clear, these are simply the ones I'm tracking. They may not be the highest value or volume. If you want ranking based purely on data you'll be better off here.

• PEPE (ETH): $3.30 Billion USD MC

• WIF (SOL): $1.91 Billion USD MC

• POPCAT (SOL): $1.17 Billion USD MC

• MOG (ETH): $0.67 Billion USD MC

• ORDI (BTC BRC20): $0.63 Billion USD MC

• SPX6900 (ETH): $0.60 Billion USD MC

• PUPS (BTC RUNE): $0.13 Billion USD MC

Note: Some of these tokens are available for trading across multiple chains. I've listed their "home" chain.

This is a selection of coins I track from decentralised social media platforms including Farcaster, Lens and Zora. It is not comprehensive and is instead a basket which are mostly above $1 Million USD FDV.

At the time of publishing I hold none of these. Tracking a few collections on Bitcoin and Ethereum out of interest.

• Bitcoin Shrooms: 1.07 BTC Floor
  This is one of the oldest Ordinals collections with most inscriptions sub-1k. Low volume but noteworthy with holders that are active across the Bitcoin community.

• Bitcoin Puppets: 0.13 BTC Floor
  Competition for the most memeable "art" and an early runner with associated memecoin (PUPS).

• Ordinal Maxi Biz: 0.15 BTC Floor
  Gained early ground by "teleburning" ETH NFTs. I don't keep up with them so should probably research more.

• NodeMonkees: 0.13 BTC Floor
  Claims to be "the first original 10k collection inscribed on bitcoin". Early runner with good mindshare.

• Quantum Cats: 0.23 BTC
  Mission based collection aiming to activate OP_CAT features on Bitcoin to enable L2 innovation.

• CryptoPunks: 25.99 ETH Floor
  The OG status ETH NFT collection. The iconic source of 10k PFP mania.

• Bored Ape Yacht Club: 10.20 ETH Floor
  '21 Era "Blue Chip", now with thier own ApeCoin L2 chain. What happens next?

• Pudgy Penguins: 8.20 ETH Floor
  Challenger collection that grew through the '22-24 Bear, now linked to Abstract L2 chain launch.

• Milady Maker: 4.18 ETH
  Counter-culture crypto native memers. You won't find a burger chain with their name on.

• NOUNS: 2.87 ETH
  The most notable DAO NFT collection and CC0 brand where tokens equal membership ⌐◨-◨

• lol, no.

So there you have it. I'm keeping this format and the assets within fluid for now but I'll aim to provie an update at least once a week.
