Weekly Wrap: 3rd - 10th April

Never a quiet week in crypto! We saw markets crash with rumours that the CEO of Binance had been issued a Red Notice by Interpol sparked by this cryptic tweet by @Cobie.

Elon Musk went into full mischief mode, temporarily changing the Twitter logo to the Dogecoin logo sparking up to 33% in gains for the coin.

Both reminders of how easily the crypto market can be moved by big individuals in the space and unfounded rumours.

And then Crypto went on to do it's own thing and chop over Easter.

Stay careful out there and remember the popular mantra:

"Trust, But Verify".

"OpenSea Fights Back" - Bankless

This week OpenSea launched OpenSea Pro, upgrading the gem.xyz platform it acquired last year. To celebrate, they also opened up a free claim for a Gemesis NFT if you had used the Gem platform in the past. With 180,000 available to mint and just under 50% minted so far, make sure you check if your wallet is eligible.

At the moment this appear to simply be a collectible, however, there has been speculation that this could be a pre-cursor to a token airdrop or an access pass to premium features. Either way, it has taken the top spot in this week's NFT rankings and has shown they will not bow down to Blur.

That said, I'm sure this tweet got more than a few chuckles this week...
