In the presence of grace, guided by an everlasting Know
The understanding of one's fate at times ceases to be shown
The human experience
Wraps us with questions and doubt
The faithful perseverance knows that the Will will be done,
Irrespective of how.
Is the guiding light
Of the journey, the route
To counteract those hesitations
With further plunge into the Source throughout?
As I walk in my life
As I strive with great zeal
To remain steadfast
To remain faithful, direction clear.
I encounter many feelings
That inside my body take form
When the journey's next destination
Has not yet brewed or shown course.
The body clams
The palms perspire
The chest feels heavy
The heart becomes tired.
The mind and soul
May have an inkling, a hunch
There is conflict inside
As the world says, in your life, to have assurance.
Create a said plan.
Formulate your roadmap.
Thoroughly prepare for each step
Have confidence in each act.
When the being inside
Connects with the unearthly, unseen
When the being inside
Is connected with the Source through life scenes.
The senses coming from inward
The guidance shared by the Light
To the world and society
May not sound possible or quite right.
The plan may not be finished
There may not be a full roadmap.
Preparations may be unknown
To the world, perhaps full assurance cannot be grasped.
In those moments that come
Where those two sensations arise
Like an imbalanced scale
How do you choose a side?
This is a great fear
As I navigate life's steps
How do I ensure I walk forward
Into the Guided route of progress?
Those perspiring palms
The clamminess that spreads
Those insecurities set in
As I doubt my discernment among the rest.
How do I know it is right?
How do I discern to see?
How can you be sure as you navigate?
How can you be sure as you be?
How can you push past the door
So heavy in weight
Of human and earthly doubts
That keep us from the Gate?
Sometimes it feels impossible
Even if I try with all my might
No muscle or strength can stand victorious against the weight.
Then I think in my mind,
Is the true message of the feat
That we can, in fact, go
If we peer down the lens of Belief?
If we can recognize the reality
That both things can be true.
We can worry in our minds
We can recognize fear in our brain
And we can choose to hold steadfast
To the Guidance that remains.
We can step forward amongst the unknowns
We can proceed with a roadmap, incomplete.
We can pray through the worries
Through hard work and conviction, our route will be seen.
The palms may be sweaty
The palms may be wet
Though we can still wipe them dry
And grasp the object to be kept.
Our body may tremble
As we experience doubts.
Though we can pray through the discomfort
And breathe to soothe those trembles throughout.
Do we ever fully know where we are going?
Are roadmaps ever fully complete?
Perhaps, in all instances,
Grasping to Grace will propel the planned scene.
