Water flows through a stream
A faucet
A hose
To arrive at a destination
That, inside itself, it knows.
Along the path
Many obstacles are in sight.
Persistence met
Of its course, it holds the right.
As we flow through our lives
Do we know where it is that we will go?
Do we have an inner compass sensing the direction
Of the way in which we will flow?
How do we interact with those obstacles
Those hurdles, bumps or rocks
That will present themselves
Whether we saw them coming toward us or not?
Do we hold to that persistence
That the water exhibits as it flows?
Do we firmly grasp to the knowing
That, of our course, we hold the right?
