Black's Veterinary Dictionary

me flexing my AI developer skills

A man seated next to me in the library has a thick green book called “Black’s Veterinary Dictionary.” He’s highlighting and annotating another textbook.

If I wanted, I could feed veterinary research papers to an AI model, then have the man learn by chatting with a robot tutor. The man could ask specific questions tailored to his studies, while the robot could provide relevant references from the research. I could build this in the time it takes the man’s son to learn how to build a paper airplane.

To test this idea, I scrapped the notes on this webpage and fed it to an AI model. The software stores the webpage text as data, then searches and retrieves the relevant information when prompted for. This is a demonstration of me asking my AI intern to read and summarize 2 months worth of my daily notes:

If you read through the notes, you’ll find the summary to be true. I couldn’t have written it better myself. As a freelancer, this is my way of demonstrating building products using AI agents.
