8-Minute Abs

Personal challenge time!

What started out as a weight loss and fitness challenge kind of turned into something a little more numerical; that's right, a 6-pack. 42 days = meme. Cause why not? It's something that I always wondered is that even achievable... for me... for my age?

So, 42 days to 6-pack. NGMI?

I go into the basic concept and a few details in this video:

I'll be attacking three main areas

  1. Weights/resistance training

  2. Movement/cardio

  3. Intake (food)

The title "8-Minute Abs" is a bit of a joke. I won't be specifically targeting the abs that intensely. Instead, the best approach will be to pay attention to overall body fat and general fitness. Many people already have shredded abs; they are just hibernating. Permanently.

I will post a few updates during the 42-day challenge, but the in-depth details and discussions will be exclusive to the After Hours crew. There, I'll delve into specific foods, training routines, and detailed record keeping.

Disclaimer of sorts:

I want to emphasize that I won't be starving myself or engaging in anything dangerous just for the sake of sensationalism. I've set a semi-reasonable goal (which I'll probably fail at, lol), and we'll see where I end up at the end of the 42 days.

Again, I'm not telling you what to do. I'm simply sharing what I'm doing. Take from this challenge what you will and do what works for you.
