API-first Trading Platform for Tokenized Securities

What we mean when we say that we're building infra for tokenized capital markets.

TLDR: We're building a regulatory compliant trading platform and a protocol for tokenized securities. We're based in NYC and are registering a non-custodial broker-dealer to operate it. We'll deploy to any chain securities issuers are using themselves. Trades settle P2P using a stable coin.

Leading crypto exchanges in the US are currency markets that are not allowed to list securities. Crypto companies that adopt securities regulation will need trading venues for tokens that are securities. We’re registering a non-custodial broker-dealer that will operate one.

We strongly believe in crypto values of security, transparency, immutability of data. We serve crypto native tokenization platforms, market makers, and crypto asset managers that value transparency.

Critically important

No funds or assets held by Poet - custody with whomever you do. We'll deploy to any chain securities issuers are using themselves. Trades settle P2P using a stable coin (probably USDC or USDT). We'll ingest compliance data for KYC/KYB/AML - no need to migrate to our product.

What the product is

An API-first trading platform for tokenized securities that lets you use your own UI if you want to. You have a vision and a preference for how your customers interact with your product. We don’t want to get in the way of that.

When we’re launching

Expect early 2024. Regulatory licenses take time and we’re working on getting them. Parts of the protcol that solve the mirrortable problem will launch in late 2023. If you think you need Poet for your use-case, signup for early access. Best way to keep up with our roadmap is to subscribed on Paragraph, or message us on LinkedIn, Farcaster, or Twitter.
