Batch #3: Migration Error
On 09-11-2024, at 10:30 AM EST, Proxyswap DAO lead proxystudio.eth distributed Batch #3 of the DL3 <> Base token migration. 10 hours later, Saumya Saxena reviewed the distribution and noted that I had made an error.
While querying data from the $PROXY migration dashboard on Dune Analytics, I accidentally included 12 addresses that already received a migration distribution in Batch #2. As a result, 3747.70 $PROXY tokens were incorrectly distributed.
Once the error was identified, I used Airstack to find the Farcaster accounts connected with the 12 impacted addresses, and reached out to each user to request the return of all tokens to the DAO multisig.
As of 09-12-2024 @ 9:41 PST, six users have responded & returned a total of 2607 $PROXY. I am in communication with the remaining users and am confident that the DAO will receive the remaining tokens.
If any tokens distributed by error from the Batch #3 errors distributions are sold on the market, I will buy them back. Luckily, our community is incredible and everyone has jumped to help get the tokens back to the DAO.
Going forward, the team will review the process of querying migration data & distributing tokens to implement checks to ensure this does not happen again.

We are also dealing with an issue querying Degen Layer 3 data on Dune, our migration dashboard is not displaying any transfers after August 30th, 2024. Will update once this is corrected & September migrations are distributed.
