Gift giving season. It can be a stressful time.

It's difficult enough to know what to get before even thinking about the affordability side too. So we're here to change that.

New: contribute towards their 'Fondo entry

Here's the deal: you know that person in your life who'd love to ride the RBC GranFondo Whistler. And not just for the unforgettable ride day. It's the journey of training, gaining skills, confidence, new friends, a focus on health and self-improvement - to name just a few.

But at the same time, buying a full gift entry can be a big financial commitment. That's why we've come up with custom gift amounts - you contribute towards the registration.

In a nutshell, you decide how much you want to gift towards their entry, without having to give the whole amount.

$25, $50, $100; it's up to you.

They're already stoked. Now, they can use this amount against their registration balance at checkout. An epic year ahead awaits!

Here's how to do it (video step by step)

  1. Head to Race Roster gift registration (you can find this page later by clicking 'register now' on our website menu too)

  2. Select "gift registrations" from the menu (requires free Race Roster account)

  3. Select "purchase a gift"

Step 1-3

Now comes the fun bit!

  1. Scroll to the category or categories of your choice

  2. Select how many gifts you'd like, plus how much you'd like to gift. To contribute a portion of their entry, tick the "subsidize" box.

(nb. a quantity of 2 would mean 2 people to receive gifts)

Step 4 & 5 - nearly there..

  1. After you checkout, Race Roster will instantly e-mail you the gift codes + easy instructions for you to pass along to that special someone(s).

The same page lets them redeem their gift.

Step 6 - that's it, all done!

It's as easy as that.

Why get them another gift card to buy yet more tech that will soon be obsolete?

Why get them a basic material item when you can contribute to an experience they'll be able to look back on with pride for the rest of their life?

Contribute towards the magic of their road to September. It's the gift that'll keep on giving.

Let your friends and colleagues know so they can contribute to their loved ones too!

Drake would approve.
