In our final episode of the season, we speak with Feems about how global internet culture has taken shape in web3 and how we - those who work in web3 - can better utilize online knowledge tools to help develop a more global web3 workforce. Feems introduces two terms - internationalization and localization - to help us understand how a global internet culture relates to local culture bound by geography, language, and beliefs.
Feems also discusses the importance of creating content that feels relatable to and can be easily understood by a global audience. This leads us to reflect on the pervasive trend we see in web3 of founders building for their friends, rather than for their intended target audience, resulting in an inability to find product-market fit.
Finally, we address some questions from Twitter surrounding expertise-based delegation in DAOs, what the governance facilitator role looks like, and what Feems envisions is the future for DAOs and web3 more broadly.
