Welcome back to my game development blog! I'm thrilled to share some exciting news with you all - we've found a fantastic game development studio that we believe is the perfect fit for us! We're confident that they'll be able to deliver on our vision and create an amazing game. We've finalized our negotiations and have already begun working together.
As a reminder, we're financing the game development out of our own pockets and are not relying on VC funding or any other means of income to bring our vision to life. We believe that this approach gives us the freedom to make decisions without any pressure from investors, ultimately resulting in a better outcome for our community. We'll be sharing more details on our cooperation with the game development studio separately.

The Society of Celestial Scholars appears, on the surface, to be a group of devoted scientists and scholars dedicated to unraveling the laws of nature and mysteries of the universe through celestial movements. Within society, there are different "schools" of thought, each with its own approach to studying the cosmos and the world around them. The two most prominent and respected schools within the society are the "Arcane Astronomers" and the "Technomancers”. These varying schools coexist harmoniously within society, each contributing to the facade of genuine scientific research.
The society's facilities are filled with complex technical and magical instruments designed to observe the sky and make intricate calculations. Technomancers possess a steam-powered computation machine that they claim can predict events based on input data. While Arcane Astronomers boasts a massive, magically-powered telescope for researching star patterns. Despite their questionable methods, they have managed to maintain an air of legitimacy.
While society has achieved an impressive level of technology and magic, in reality, they are pseudo-scientists, as their primary goals and research are based on astrology. Nevertheless, they have managed to convince many that they are legitimate scientists and that their society resembles a prestigious scientific organization.
The scholars will go to great lengths and employ any means necessary to protect their legitimacy if someone starts to question it. Despite their questionable practices, the Society of Celestial Scholars remains a respected organization, and its members are committed to maintaining the illusion of their scholarly pursuits.
Within the Society of Celestial Scholars, several notable figures stand out, each contributing to the organization's esteemed reputation and maintaining the facade of genuine scientific research:
Grand Astronomer Celestia: As the head of the society, Grand Astronomer Celestia is a charismatic figure with a passion for celestial studies. She is an expert in navigating the complex politics of society's various schools of thought and is renowned for her ability to inspire and unite members under a common goal.
Professor Orion Starfinder: A leading expert in star pattern analysis, Professor Orion Starfinder is the head of one of society's schools. He is known for his meticulous attention to detail and his relentless pursuit of knowledge, even if it sometimes leads him down questionable paths.
Lady Ada Ironspark, The Enchantress of Numbers: As the mastermind behind society's steam and the magic-powered computation machine, Lady Ada Ironspark is a prodigious inventor and mathematician. Her work on the machine has earned her a revered status within society, despite her unconventional methods.
Dr. Alistair Moonshadow: Dr. Alistair Moonshadow is a prominent figure within society, focusing on the study of lunar phenomena and their influence on the world. His enigmatic personality and flair for the dramatic have earned him both admirers and skeptics within the organization.
Together, these figures form the backbone of the Society of Celestial Scholars, each playing a crucial role in upholding the organization's reputation and influence. Their combined efforts have solidified the society's position as a respected institution, despite the underlying truth of their pseudo-scientific practices.
