My name is SVVVG3 (pronounced SAVAGE) and I've been in crypto/web3/onchain since 2017. I became curious about Bitcoin and Ethereum but did not yet have the funds to invest too heavily.

Fast forward to 2020 where I was loading up some of my first bits of ETH to buy into a gaming project called Axie Infinity (still around today). Shortly after, I dove into Discord & X (formerly Twitter) and started to find my way. I discovered Farcaster in April of 2024 and have been hooked ever since!

I've spent a lot of time trading (and collecting) coins & NFTs over the last few years. These days, I spend a lot of my time on the Base L2, but also tend to explore other chains. I plan to use this blog as a weekly journal of my journey onchain. Let's dive in to what happened this week:

The memecoin trenches are looking pretty grim this week after an interview with one of the creators of the $LIBRA token surfaced on Youtube and the timeline.

In the interview, Coffeezilla sits down with Hayden Davis (Kelsier) - where he admitted (for the world to hear) that the teams were both involved in the sniping (and dumping) of $LIBRA and $MELANIA.

This seems to have caused a sentiment shift in the market, sending $SOL under $170 and almost every memecoin down with it.

I've been using this time to add to a few of my conviction holdings - staying away from new coins until we see a little light at the end of the tunnel.

amps.fun is an upcoming marketplace on Farcaster aiming to match users who are willing to pay for distribution with users who have distribution.

Currently unsure who the team behind the project is - but I noticed some familiar accounts following, so I signed up as well. Join the waitlist here!

Streme.fun is a new token launching platform, similar to clanker. The difference with Streme is that each token deployed has the ability to be staked by holders. When holders stake, they receive a portion of staking rewards "streamed" directly to their wallet (powered by Superfluid).

The tech behind these tokens is pretty incredible considering when you stake a token in most cases, you still have to go back to the staking site to claim your rewards periodically. This is automatic and seamless!

Mark Carey and Zenigame are the creators of Streme and were named one of the 10 Finalists at the ETH Global Agentic Ethereum Hackathon, out of 518 submissions.

The original $STREME token was released on Valentine's Day. I bought and staked some to test out the tech and am a huge fan so far!

Warpcast wallet, or warplet (as the kids are calling it) became available to 1000 more users on Tuesday! The team is planning full wallet availability later this week. The wallet has been super smooth on my end, and I'm excited to see where the team continues to take it.

$DEGEN reaches 1M holders and becomes the third most held token on Base - only behind ETH & USDC!

Apparently 1M is a common theme for degens because Warpcast Rewards winners will now be receiving a portion of 1M $DEGEN weekly - in addition to their USDC rewards!

Any Warpcast Rewards winners, based in the US, who have received over $600 in rewards will now have to fill out a 1099 in order to continue earning. This should only affect a small percentage of users.

These are the coins I plan on holding for the long term - either because it provides some kind of utility or I just like the meme/brand. None of this is intended to be financial advice by any means.
