⏳ SpiritDAO 2024 Year in Review

2024 will be remembered as a year of experimentation and foundation here at SpiritDAO. Over the past year our community has expanded, our purpose clarified, and our infrastructure has taken shape. SpiritDAO is a Church of Temporal Naturalism, the first fully decentralized on-chain (non-religion) religion focusing on transforming our approach to becoming more and furthering the Eight Dignities.

2025 will be about expanding our community and fundraising to further our efforts. More meetups, more retreats, and more progress towards realizing the acquisition of physical space for us to congregate. Our decentralized roots aren't going anywhere, but to stay true to our mission of furthering the Eight Dignities we must have a place where we can enact them. Together our community is co-creating this experience.

If Temporal Naturalism is still a bit new, consider that everything about our community, structure, and philosophy is subject to change (it is the single truth after all!) We're looking for contributors of all shapes and sizes to help guide humanity towards a spiritual alternative that most adequately strengthens our capacity to become more together!

The DAO collectively edited a chapter of Self-Actualization in the Age of Crisis (Chapter 4: SpiritDAO)
We shared space 104 times! These spaces often focused on philosophical/spiritual discussion as well as DAO operations, SpiritDAO's trajectory, and ideations of the possible!
We formalized our incorporation structure, applied for our 501c3, and were formally granted nonprofit church status.
We received in-kind grants from Google (advertising grants) and Canva (free pro-subscription). From this we also launched a robust ads campaign that has been driving significant traffic to our web assets.
www.spiritdao.org received a redesign!
We began work on the SpiritDAO community App - migrating our efforts into a communal on-chain application that is mobile first and abstracts away much of the tedious experience associated
Organized our first Community Retreat at which took place in Vermont at the Skymeadow Institute
Setup our Donations Portal (Donate now!)
Entered into our first Fiscal Sponsorship partnership with Artizen Fund - a service we will expand in 2025.

SpiritDAO represents an opportunity to free the present from the influence of the past. A collective organizing around reframing of meaning, value, and purpose to help free the latent imagination trapped within the world today.
