Greetings!
The start of the year brought loads of new stuff already, especially in the AI world which evolves at an unseen speed these days. ChatGPT remained the most innovative app being steps ahead of Bard, Grok and Copilot. Not just because of the GPT Store launch but also because of what's coming next! Find out more below 🗞
As TestingCatalog also evolves, I am investing more and more time into reverse engineering and building my publishing workflow around this. In case you are interested in contributing, take a look at the TestingCatalog project update section.

AI
The GPT Store is out! What's next?
Users got access to a huge variety of GPTs and these GPTs became much more refined than before. These GPTs already could work as "AI Agents", supporting us with many different tasks including content creation, coding and much more.
Some of the upcoming features which the OpenAI team is cooking will allow us to work within a single chat from where you will be able to talk to any custom GPT. These conversations will also be Personalised as ChatGPT will learn about you from your chats. GPT's "mention" feature will be a huge change to the way how we work with ChatGPT as it will simplify workflows a lot. It is still unclear how it will perform in real life as it is not yet released but it has a huge potential.
Google's Bard is lagging behind. The leaked "Motoko" feature (GPTs analogy) is not there yet and it is still unclear when it will be released. There have been 0 updates since December.
Grok and Copilot are not more advanced either. Copilot got a mobile app, as well as a bit of announcements about Copilot Pro which doesn't have a release timeline yet.

Web3
There are loads of things happening in web3 but for some reason, I cannot name anything exceptional. OpenSea got more user-friendly to non-crypto native people to sign in and buy NFTs, the Wrapcast social app keeps getting new features and Magic Eden is cooking a retrospective Airdrop which I hope I will be able to experience and report about (but only in February).
The most interesting feature for me to explore was HTML NFTs which you can produce on Paragraph and browse on OpenSea over here. I generally believe that NFTs will become the next "print" for media and the importance of publishing on-chain will rise along with AI expansion.

X (Twitter) is evolving super fast and is leaping towards video content. Not 100% sure I like it because I rarely produce videos, but observing this transformation would still be interesting. Especially assuming that video content will potentially grow X's user base and will bring more attention to other accounts.
The other notable release happened on Notion where they've released a calendar feature which can be integrated with Google Calendars and Notion's content.

TestingCatalog Updates
My main target for this project at this moment is to expand the audience as quickly as possible. Mainly on X due to its organic growth. Telegram still is number 2.
I also aim to cover ChatGPT as comprehensively as possible and this is why you would see more posts on this topic than on others. This also includes reverse engineering of the same and potentially it will be the main growth opportunity for TestingCatalog at this moment.
In case you are testing a certain app and would love to write about your experience on TestingCatalog, please reach out! You can expand your writing portfolio, learn how the publication pipeline works and become featured on Google News and potentially other websites depending on the topic.
Stay tuned! 🙌
