Jesus offers us eternal life.
Dearly beloved,
Jesus offers us eternal life- the very life of God; the same one that God has. It is an opportunity, a call and an invitation to always experience this life in far surpassing measure.
It is a call to participate in the Godhead. It is a call to be Him.
All we need to do is to believe in Him- to trust and rely on His death, burial and resurrection and all that it portends according to the Scripture and as simple as that, we become possessors of eternal life, the God-kind of life.
See the following Scriptures:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
… I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
1 John 5:20.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
John 1:4.
