This Wolf Pup is excited, as we have built quite a number of subscribers to the weekly "Guardian" and have been honored with a special transmission post from The Guardian Academy (TGA). If you haven't subscribed yet be sure to do so to not miss out on key updates like this.

Our weekly Guardian update is sent out every Friday, you can review previous issues here. The Weekly Guardian is focused heavily on the intersection of human and tech. Every now and then we will have updates for members that fall outside of our Friday updates focused on on-chain benefits for Medallion holders.

TGA Medallion Dashboard Overview

The TGA medallions are deflationary, each time the medallion forge is used, medallions are burned. You can see the dashboard here: https://guardianacademy.io/medallions/

Example:

There can only be 2500 new Bronze Medallions minted. Ever.

In order to acquire a Silver Medallion through the Medallion forge, 5 Bronze Medallions are destroyed (burned). At the time of this writing, 481 bronze medallions have been burned, which means there can only ever be 2019 bronze medallion in circulation. Each silver medallion forged removes 5 Bronze Medallions from circulation and puts one new Silver Medallion into circulation, so on and so forth. Medallions can also be purchased from others on OpenSea, 50% of the royalties go to developing further medallion benefits, 50% goes to acquiring $GUARD for community governance in the Guard Foundation.

This week on 3/15/2023 we will be taking a snapshot of Medallion holders. The entries are as follows:

Each bronze medallion is 1 entry
Each silver medallion is 5.5 entries
Each golden medallion is 17 entries

We are aiming to do these with an increasing frequency as the dApps and development allows for more to be moved on chain. This will be coupled with our forthcoming TGA rewards program, fueled by medallions.
