The Squibbles®️ Creative Workshops

First of all, we hope you’ve been living an amazing life! It’s full of exciting opportunities, fun, challenges, and joy, but can also be really difficult too. A smile can help a little, and support from loved ones can help a lot - find that balance and you’ll be living life to the max!

Our very own Squibbles®️ creator Jay held a creative workshop recently at Higherford Mill in Barrowford, Lancashire, and it was a huge success. The children listened to Meet The Squibbles, met the characters in the book, snuggled some crocheted characters, created a Squibble together, learned some tricks on how to draw their own Squibbles, made up some songs about them, and they also met Frederick The Third!

The Squibbles®️ Show Progress

As you may or may not know, progress on the animated pilot for The Squibbles Show is underway. We’ve been tirelessly ideating, pivoting, and working out the most efficient way to produce the show and we feel we’re on track to having something to present very soon. We are currently writing some songs for the episodes and knuckling down on getting the scenes modelled and characters animated. We’re also putting together an outro for the pilot and have a solid structure for each episode now.

We’re very excited about how things are progressing and we’re looking forward to showing you something soon!

New Podcast - Voice Notes Suck

Unrelated to The Squibbles®️, but an interesting listen for that downtime while the children are sleeping or you’re putting in some reps at the gym, is a new podcast by our creator Jay and his friend Dave called Voice Notes Suck. This series covers all sorts of topics surrounding the Digital Community. The format is unique, recorded using just voice notes in WhatsApp! It works, and feedback has been fantastic - with 5-star reviews all round so far.
