We want to share something special that's happening at the moment, involving The Squibbles®️ , five artists aged 8 to 14 from all over the world and Web3.
Here's why...
We're experiencing the real-time evolution of the Internet and even though we may take it for granted- which most of us probably do- Web3 has been a hugely challenging and rich learning experience that we can thank the blockchain for. Genuinely.
When you hear about crypto, as grizzly, scammy and strange as it can seem, it wouldn't exist without the blockchain and in a strange twist of fate, the most amazing thing about it all is the blockchain itself and the innovative things it inspires.
Now, the workings of the Internet and web pages and logins and searching aren't of interest to the general public and most likely you, too. That's a fact. They could be but they aren't. So it's important to respect that and make the new Internet as easy to navigate and as seamless to transition into as possible.
Collecting or buying digital assets is a new thing but it's game changing in Web3 because you can re-sell them... This is a major difference between our current system and what's to come.
Imagine being able to download a digital version of a game and then sell it on again, with the original publisher, creator or even entire team making a % everytime it sells on. At the moment, if you download a game... You can't do anything with it ever again can you? Some of these games cost upwards of £60!
The same applies to in-game purchases, digital wallpapers, ringtones...the list goes on.
This brings us to Squiblets. Every child involved in this project (managed by their parents) benefits from every sale of a Squiblet. We've created 500 of them and you can buy them using a credit card, Google Pay and Apple pay!
