🎓 Smart announcements for Discord communities

🤪 Slow user growth

🌞 We've launched smart announcements. This allows users to send announcements as DMs increasing their reach and read rate. We also made changes to how active members are calculated. We've moved from only counting members who interact with others, to counting also members who post. This was in response to user feedback.

🌨 HiveMind (Q&A chatbot): The feature is advancing according to plan. We've moved to bounties to accelerate the development now that many of the integrations with other tools are akin to "copy-pasting" with some modifications. This allows us to deliver milestone 4 (ingestion of different platforms) quicker and reduces the load on a key developer. We're using the LLM Q&A bot already in our server.

🥀 Integrating Telegram is still ongoing. Changes to the API has meant we've had to rethink the design.

We continue with our bi-monthly Twitter spaces but dropped the monthly community calls as traction was low. Our next Twitter Space is with Ravikant Agrawal from Polygon Labs. We've also spent more time increasing our audience on Twitter with the goal to increase brand awareness.

On Telegram, we've posted more regularly in our community (3 posts per week) and engaged with members 1:1. The aim is to build closer relationships with key members.

Twelve new communities have installed TogetherCrew. Of those new ones, two are eager to integrate Telegram and Discourse. We're expecting that once these integrations are done, we'll see more communities join.

The next tasks in development are:

• Analyzer: We're refactoring the analyzer script to be easier compatible with other platforms

• Dynamic NFT: We have started development for this task. It's going in parallel to the HiveMind feature.

• Code of Conduct bot: We've decided to pick this grant up again. We were not able to work on it, as the tokens were locked for some time and we didn't have the necessary funding to pre-pay our team for the work.

We reorganized the roadmap. The following items have been pushed further back or put on hold

• Collab.land integration: This has been put on-hold in order to progress on grant work.

• Automation MVP: 80% of the functionality are already included in the v2 of smart announcements. This is on hold as we're unsure about what types of automation users would prefer to have.

• We have 88 (+12) communities who deployed the bot.

• MRR: $1130 (+0)

• WAU: between 4 and 14 during March and April. (I'm moving to weekly active users, as this metric more accurately represents how often community managers would use the tool)

• Our website metrics are between 41 and 76 unique visitors per week.

Assuming we hit all the milestones for SingularityNet, Dynamic NFT, Optimism grant (and the OP token doesn't drop) our runway is April 2026.
