A Different Perspective

Every week, this newsletter tries to capture and curate what’s happening and what’s fun and great - however, it has its limitations. Starting by the fact that it’s written and curated by a single person. So, this week, we wanted to try something new. We invited Dayana, a freelance creator, writer, MC extraordinaire and Lens Girl to co-write, and select creators she loves, so we can inject some fresh air into this space. 

Ciao from Napoli. I slit my middle finger while slicing some Bresaola for my sandwich. The drip is scarlet-red and it matches my new nail polish refreshed for the crypto event I’m speaking at tomorrow. 

I’m quite faint-hearted when it comes to blood, but I stand in the kitchen watching it flow with fascination. I feel alive. I am alive. Roaming through the narrow streets of the city, phone in hand, snapping photos for Orb Club has breathed new life into me. I used to be a perfectionist about my art… the light had to be golden. The outfit - color coded. The street - empty. The truth is, that pursuing perfectionism made me feel empty. 

I urge you to let go of expectations - yours and those of others. Simply use your lens (literal and digital). Capture the moment. Feel alive. You have creativity coursing through your veins. All you need to do is let it flow through you.
