Friends onchain, meeting offchain

This coming week, the Family, Lens and Aave teams will be in Bangkok, Thailand. As per our usual fashion, we have been busy planning new experiences with a lot of love. Make sure to bring extra socks to our events, in case we knock them off.

So, for this one time, instead of an onchain digest, which will be back soon alongside our travel diaries, I’m doing a roundup of events you should not miss if you want to hang out with us, get some socks, score a r**ve ticket, or of course, listen to what we have to say.

For SheFi summit, we’ll have tables for Aave, Family and Lens, we’ll hand out r**ve bracelets to all girls, and I’ll be giving a keynote “Applied Resistance Strategies for the Contemporary Girl/Gigachad” on becoming more resilient, and joining the Anon Anthropology 404 panel with Liz Yang, Roisin Kavanagh and my fellow Latina Bunny. Stani will be taking the stage at Dunecon and Uniday, among others. 

Come hang out with us at Devcon! Lens will have a booth and we’ve designed and produced very cute merch. We’d love to tell you more about what we’ve been up to (as I mentioned before, we’ve been quite heads down), and get to know builders looking to build onchain social products. 

We’ll be at Devcon during the morning with Lens, and in the afternoon, Aave and friends are doing a takeover of Soho House Bangkok for DeFi Renaissance Day. We should be revealing the speakers soon, we’re really excited as we’ve managed to put together a really compelling set of speakers. Again, we’ll be at Devcon but this time with Aave instead of Lens! Stani will be presenting Ethereum as a Force for Good on the mainstage as well, which we’re all very excited about. And of course, when the night falls, it’s rAAVE time! This time Ronnie has decided the theme will be cosmic noir - so dress accordingly, black, silver, gold, maybe hints of deep blue. 

We’re almost there! Friday will be the last day of Devcon - we’ll be present with the Aave booth again, and for our Lens & Family frens, we’ll also be hosting a fun, laid-back and delicious brunch.
