A short note before you start reading: I'm doing something new today. I'm cross-posting my weekly creativity challenge here as well. Let's see how this performs compared to my other newsletter.
When was the last time you opened your mailbox and found something else than brochures and advertising leaflets in it? Yes, I mean the mailbox at your door. That physical one.
For me, it was not that long ago. I received a card from Denver, signed by a group of my online friends. It was not the first one, and likely not the last.
Now, I've not been just receiving postcards. I've been sending them, too. At the moment I use some photos, that I stick on a card. I write with my fountain pen on it. A personal message, and always a poem. That's my thing.
Who do you want to send a postcard to? Today, your creativity prompt is to find or make a postcard and write a message on it for someone you think needs some cheering up. Or to someone you love. Or a friend.
Of course, sending it would bring happiness, but for this prompt, you don't need to do that. I highly recommend it, though. You can also share your postcard in the comments if you wish.
Have fun, stay creative.
