The 2024 Farcaster Users Stats provides an insightful overview of the platform's growth, user engagement, and financial performance since its launch in 2021.

Here's the TLDR:

• Daily Active User (DAU) Surge
  Farcaster's DAU count remained stagnant at around 1K-4K during 2022 and 2023.

  However, in 2024, the introduction of the Frames feature on Warpcast led to a staggering 400% increase in DAU, jumping from approximately 5K on January to 24.7K by February.

  The volume of new daily casts also surged to about 2 million, marking a 200% increase from the previous week.

• Impressive Valuation and Funding
  Since its launch, Farcaster has raised a total of $180 million across two funding rounds.

  In 2022, it secured 30 million, followed by a significant $150 million in May 2024, bringing its valuation to $1 billion.

• Revenue Growth
  Farcaster reported a cumulative revenue of $194,110 for 2023, which surged to 1.91 million by July 2024.

  This remarkable 883.5% increase within six months highlights the platform's strong market traction.

• Registered User Growth
  Farcaster welcomed 140K new users in 2023, with the total reaching 546K+ 2024. This growth is largely attributed to the successful launch of new features like Frames, which significantly boosted DAU engagement.

• Transaction Volume and Activity
  Between August 2023 and August 2024, Farcaster recorded its highest 24-hour transaction count on February 5, 2024, with approximately 17.63K transactions and a peak transaction volume of $47.99K on the same day.

This week, we’re diving into the Craft Club community on Farcaster (FC), where beer lovers unite! This club hosts monthly brewery meetups across NYC, creating a space to chat about everything beer-related, from new drops to homebrewing tastes and tips.

Their next gathering, Craft Club - Meetup #8, is on December 4 at Wild East Brewing Co. in Brooklyn.
