Lens Improvement Proposals (LIPs) Backlog 🤔
Hey bros, let's talk about the Lens Improvement Proposals (LIPs) backlog!
So, what's a LIP? It's like the roadmap for Lens Protocol, kinda similar to how Ethereum's got its Improvement Proposals (EIPs). Basically, LIPs guide us on making Lens more open and decentralized, giving the community a big say in how things evolve.
But here’s the thing—right now, we've got a whopping 23 LIPs waiting around: 22 need reviewing, and 1's been in draft, some LIPs are open since November 2023. What’s up with that, right?
Could it be Lens is short on resources or the system's not keeping up? Maybe both?
Here’s an idea: let's borrow a trick from Electronic Change Requests (ECRs). They’re like speed lanes for making updates:
Initiating the LIP: Anyone can pitch an idea.
Priority: LIPs should be entered with a priority level
Review and Approval: Assign peeps—Lens Team members and Lens OGs —to look over stuff. Each gets a couple days max to decide(depending on the complexity).
Implementation: Once it's a go, we make it happen, no holding back.
Tracking and Documentation: We keep records, so everyone's in the loop.
This ECR-style setup would turbocharge how we handle LIPs. It's all about staying nimble - quick decisions mean we keep Lens fresh and on point.
Imagine if LIPs moved faster. Lens could evolve quicker, adapt to new tech trends, and stay ahead in the blockchain game. Plus, we'd be showing everyone how community-driven projects can lead the way.
So, Lens Team, let’s shake things up! Embrace the KISS (Keep It Simple and Short) principle, streamline the process, and make those LIPs fly and clear this backlog list, guys 👇🏼
Btw, which LIPs do you think are priority to get approved, guys?

Create Farcaster Frames in Figma 🎨
Exciting news from frame.town and Rafi ! You can now design and deploy Frames directly within Figma, without the need for coding skills.
Here’s how it works:
1. Open frame.town Figma plugin in a new Figma file.
2. Customise Frame Images and Buttons directly in Figma.
3. Easily link buttons to external URLs.
4. Duplicate and modify Frames effortlessly.
5. Connect Frames using the Prototype tool.
6. Deploy your Frame instantly with the plugin.
Want to test before posting? Paste the Frame URL into Warpcast’s Frame Validator tool link here and see how it looks.
Share your creations and feedback in /frametown FC Channel. Have fun!

Beer Taste - Tuborg from Denmark
Inspired by our friend Check's post, a member of the Orb Beer Club!
Tuborg, a name synonymous with crisp Danish brewing, boasts a rich history dating back to 1873. Founded in Hellerup, just north of Copenhagen, this brewery quickly rose to prominence with its flagship pilsner, first brewed in 1880.
From Thuesborg to Tuborg:
The name itself is a nod to local history. Derived from "Thuesborg" (meaning "Thue's castle"), a 17th-century Copenhagen inn, Tuborg gradually became woven into the area's identity.
A Legacy of Innovation:
Tuborg's journey is one of continuous innovation. Throughout the 20th century, the brewery expanded its reach, becoming part of the Carlsberg Group in 1970. While the original brewery site has been redeveloped, the iconic Tuborg bottle from 1888 remains a landmark in Hellerup, a testament to the brand's enduring legacy.
Beyond Denmark:
Tuborg isn't just a Danish favorite. It's a global beer brand enjoyed in over 31 countries. Locally produced in many markets, Tuborg holds a particularly strong presence in Eastern Europe.
A World of Choice:
While Tuborg Green (Pilsner Grøn) reigns supreme in Denmark, the international experience offers a wider variety. From the classic Tuborg Gold to refreshing summer brews and seasonal offerings, Tuborg caters to diverse palates.
Next Stop, Your Fridge?
So, next time you're browsing the beer aisle, keep an eye out for the iconic Tuborg label. With its rich heritage and commitment to quality, Tuborg might just become your new favorite pilsner.
