NFT Open Actions on Orb
NFT Open Actions are here! Lens native smart contract calls are now embedded into Lens posts.
Created using the Open Actions toolkit and powered by Decent, NFT Open Actions integrate with marketplaces like SuperRare, Zora, and Pods Media, with Opensea and Rarible support coming soon.
This allows for direct onchain monetisation and cross-chain NFTs on ETH mainnet, Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, Zora Network, and Polygon. It ensures fair rewards for creators, curators, and applications within the Lens ecosystem.
How It Works
Open Actions are embedded into Lens posts. When a post links to a supported NFT platform, the action module encodes the NFT interaction.
Recognizing applications can render UI elements for users to execute the action. The nft-open-action-kit library simplifies this integration process.
You can learn more here.
Orb App Update Highlights
The new Orb app update makes NFT Open Actions simple. Collect or mint posts from Zora, Pods, and SuperRare NFTs with a single slide on Orb.
Orb's 1-slide mint works with Zora, Pods, and SuperRare.
Creators: paste your NFT link to reach over 300k users.
Collectors: mint with 1 slide using your preferred token.
Powered by Decent and Lens’s NFT open action.
Oh, and Orb also has a new logo, they were at AFK Berlin giving away some swag, and Orb Clubs are open for everyone to create their own.
NFT Open Actions are transforming the onchain ecosystem, with Orb making these features accessible and user-friendly. Have you tried them?

Beer Taste: Sagres from Lisbon 🇵🇹
Heading to Lisbon for the NFC conference? Quench your thirst with a taste of Portugal – Sagres beer! This iconic brand has been a Portuguese favorite since 1940, and it's the perfect way to unwind after a long day of sessions.
A Rich History:
While you won't find a brewery in the town of Sagres itself (it just lent its name!), Sagres boasts a long and interesting history. Founded in 1934, the brand has seen Portugal evolve, and today it's the market leader in the country.
More Than Just Lagers:
While Sagres started with just a light lager (Branca) and a dark beer (Preta), the brand has expanded its offerings. Here's a taste of what you might find:
Sagres Branca: A classic Pilsner with a refreshing 5.2% ABV.
Sagres Preta: The original dark beer, a Portuguese staple.
Limalight: A light and citrusy beer mix, perfect for a hot day.
Zero Series: Non-alcoholic versions of Branca, Preta, and Limalight – enjoy the taste without the buzz!
Bohemia Series: Premium Pilsners with slightly higher alcohol content, for those who like a bolder taste.
Pair it Up!
Sagres goes well with just about anything, but for a truly authentic Portuguese experience, grab a Pastel de Nata (a delicious custard tart) alongside your beer. Saúde 🍻
And that's it for this week!
