NFT Rome Highlights 🍕

Last weekend, all roads led to Rome for the grand event of the year: NFT Rome. This was the place to be for everything Web3, gaming, art, and innovation.

What’s NFT Rome?

NFT Rome is a vibrant hub for the Web3 economy, blending gaming, creativity, style, arts, and communication. The event was packed with top-tier digital artists, pioneering projects, and leading brands from various sectors, making it a melting pot of innovation and creativity.

Event Highlights 👀

June 7-8: Horti Sallustiani

The main event unfolded at Horti Sallustiani, an ancient site once owned by Sallustio, a buddy of Julius Caesar. Attendees were treated to an array of speeches and panels featuring digital artists and Web3 communities. Industry leaders from luxury, fashion, automotive, travel, real estate, and finance sectors shared their insights, creating a rich tapestry of knowledge and inspiration.

June 9: La Rinascente

The grand finale took place at La Rinascente in Piazza Fiume with a Digital Art Shopping Night. This exclusive evening, featuring a DJ set and internationally renowned artists, was a unique celebration of digital art.

Web3 Artists and Monniverse 🧜‍♀️

Our very own Carla Monni was not only an ambassador but also a speaker at the event. She introduced her project, Monniverse, and showcased one of her NFT Mermaid creations, voted among the top 11 by the NFT Rome community.

The Phaver and Lens Crew 🤝

Our friends from Phaver Stanislav Titusko, Antonella Monni (to name a few)—were also in attendance, along with Tommy Thomas. They hung out together, enjoyed some beers, and immersed themselves in the event.

Tommy's feedback on the event?

"IRL events will always be the alpha. Glad I was able to be part of NFT Rome and experience their blend of Web3 and art in the historic city of Rome. Massive applause to the team! It was a pleasure meeting everyone I did in Rome. I'll have to catch you at the next one."

Tommy also spread the word about Lens across the event, noting that "All were super bullish after seeing how comprehensive the ecosystem is and learning about the culture."

Looking Ahead 🔮

FOMO was real, but we’re excited for next year when the Bros will hopefully head to NFT Rome. There's room for improvement in scheduling crypto/Web3 conferences, as many overlap. Maybe it's time for a committee to coordinate better.
