The spaces where art and technology converge are growing, but the spaces that allow us to understand the new way of consuming crypto art, and that engage with the vision of each artist are scarce - if we consider that we are at the beginning of a renewed conception of art. Each physical gallery has its own character, a distinctive individuality in which artists find their niche or where the window to be seen fits perfectly into an environment of opportunity for each one. The art in each gallery allows for interdisciplinary creation from diverse techniques, forming links between others' emotions and their own, which echoes in each person who observes the final result.
This result would be desolate and arid lands if there were no art galleries that reflect the dialogue that exists between work, artist, and spectator. One of those spaces allowing for that conversation to exist is the recently opened Fort NFT Gallery, located in Mérida Yucatán, Mexico. A physical space where the museographic route creates a casual experience that leads you to feel each work and experience art in its new and revolutionary NFT form.
“El Universo de Octano” was the opening exhibition of this space directed by Vee Coleman, an artist and gallery owner committed to her cultural and artistic ideals. Each of the works on display are unique pieces (1/1); work by more than 30 artists from different nationalities and styles are exhibited in this incredible journey to a tangible form.

The daring choice of a city like Mérida, a city rich in history and colonial culture, strengthens the tradition of Latin American art. One of the most important monuments in Mérida is the "Monumento a la Patria" (whose author was the Colombian sculptor Rómulo Rozo). Fort NFT knows how to showcase the Latin and Brazilian vision of crypto art.
We see this in the exhibition with artists: Aempatia, Califo, Leónidas Valdez, SkrrTey, 3a5a1a de la Créme, Mentalnoise. This exhibition brings together talent that goes beyond any border and precisely characterizes this exhibition, and Fort NFT, that under intelligent curatorship you can bring together the work of WomanNFT, GEM, Noah Kocher and create a universe solely governed by the love art.
This newly opened space--where you can play with the environment and give way to the exhibition of colourful canvases on its white walls, simultaneously as screens that reproduce the digital pieces--will be a space that will mean much more than an art gallery. Fort NFT has a keen nose for detecting emerging and alternative artists, giving a vow of faith to the creators to continue producing with inherent confidence in their talent, very necessary in the art world.
Fort NFT will continue to grow and become a future reference for critics, collectors, artists and simply art lovers. We should all applaud this expansion of consuming, creating and disseminating culture on web3. We all win when spaces are opened for our craft. These spaces support artists, bring together artists to support other artists, promote artists and create windows of opportunity.
Congratulations on this achievement Vee Coleman and Valentina, as well as all the talented artists who have been part of this inauguration
