5 Artists From the UNDRGRND Collection
UNDRGRND DIGS is a periodical feature showcasing artists that the UNDRGRND curators dig. We sift through the social media and NFT platforms to find the best artists waiting to be discovered. UNDRGRND believes in the artists we feature and we will purchase NFTs from each artist featured. Purchases will be airdropped to reward UNDRGRND community members.

Super Bibip
Making friends
Bibip’s are bunny like creatures who arrive on Earth to explore. They become friends with the animals of our planet to avoid the dangerous humans destroying nature. However, they meet a human and discover that some are actually good. A story told through bright colors and pop-art style reminiscent of Arya Mularama. Mixing sci-fi aspects with the mystical this first chapter in the series is a great beginning with a robust set of characters set in motion.

Winston Churchill said about the death of King George VI, “In the end, death came as a friend.” Paldipaldi brings mundane forgettable moments of life to the afterlife with his “Ghost” series. From standing in line deciding what to order, to the daunting weekly task of laundry, to simply relaxing and channel surfing in one’s underwear Faldian brings to life (pun intended) in these simple moments. Along for the ride is an unlikely friend, Death. Although not friendly at first their budding friendship blossoms through the series like a buddy film version of A Ghost Story. Whoever the ghost was in their previous life, they have taken their love of music to the afterlife attending concerts and still hoping to start their own band and show no signs of slowing down just because of a little case of death.

Luno Aka Twoclicks proves that this space is still too large to discover every artist out there and that talent alone does not mean success. Minting for over two years on what many see as the premiere NFT marketplace, SuperRare, Luno still maintains a small following, patiently waiting (all while creating beautiful paintings occasionally edited digitally with motion) for a Twitter algorithm that has failed him and many others. We celebrate those who had the foresight to purchase Xcopy’s work back in the early days. Yet, when there was little competition and NFTs were brand new, what other option did those collectors have? Now that it has become harder to stand out in an art scene exploding with new artists every day, what will be our excuse in the future when we continued trying to look for the new and upcoming artists arriving when artists who have been here for years are still waiting to be recognized? Now is the time to take notice of one of those artists in Luno Aka Twoclicks.

RubenBigQ brings his Indonesian culture to the forefront in his street-style art. RubenBigQ’s patriotism is on full display in Indonesian Culture to celebrate Indonesia National Day. Flowers from his homeland make an appearance throughout his work, along with what appears to be a mask of his face and a focus on sneakers. Influenced by rap and basketball culture in Drake, Kanye, Mamba Forever and For The Love Of The Game, RubenBigQ brings his culture to the 21st century in his art and through NFTs but also brings thoughtful and emotional awareness about the anxiety and stress we all face in the current state of affairs in the world in See The Sun Smiling and What News.

Yusman Ali’s surrealism places the female form in a variety of foreign landscapes. These large beings often appear weighed down by something emotionally draining. In shade, a wanderer uses the mostly decomposed carcass of one of these beings as shade as the large genderless body shields its eyes from the brutal sun as if being tortured one final time. In inclosed, families look on for entertainment at a large female form who shields their face in what can only be assumed is shame or even a protest of hiding their full beauty. But, there is still love in this mystical realm, like in fuse, where gender seems to not exist but different body types still long to be entwined together, signifying that love is love.
Each UNDRGRND DIGS will feature artists our curators have purchased for the UNDRGRND Collection. UNDRGRND will airdrop pieces from our collection to community members via giveaways.
