5 Artists From the UNDRGRND Collection

UNDRGRND DIGS is a periodical feature showcasing artists that the UNDRGRND curators dig. We sift through the social media and NFT platforms to find the best artists waiting to be discovered. UNDRGRND believes in the artists we feature and we will purchase NFTs from each artist featured.

Parviz’s series So Far So Close creates the experience of jumping into a painting or the psychedelic experience of fading into oneself. The most unsettling experience may be Birth where we’re allowed to dive into the universal experience of creating consciousness. The more serene series, like Return to NY and Planet of W.i.s.h.e.s , still provide an avenue into psychedelic realms and a higher self. All of Parviz’s work attempts to raise the audience’s awareness to their full potential, which is a positive outlook many could use.

True to his name P1xelboy manipulates pixels to his will with dazzling projects on f(x)hash. P1xelboy allows viewers to enjoy playing with glitter without the impossible task of cleaning it up in his interactive series Indefinite Glitter. However, P1xelboy finds a way to break away from his moniker by playing with words in his series Malaphors. The series highlights the often repeated cliches of terrible advice or mass-produced wall art, but with the humorous misquotes associated with malaphors.

ETHEREAL CONSEQUENCES OF ACTIONS - Kissing

ETHEREAL CONSEQUENCES OF ACTIONS - Kissing

A graphic design artist creating topographical abstract digital scans, Kiki, earns bonus points for references to Lord of the Rings (Sauron in the Metaverse). Kiki shows the importance of naming abstract pieces with works like Ethereal Consequences of Actions - Kissing, where the viewer gets the impression of two individuals kissing in the misty, undefined space of the ether. The soft colors and lighting give the piece a romantic feeling reserved for those magical, peak experiences when kissing a loved one; those moments that make life feel worth living and as if there is such a thing as fate or divine intervention bringing two individuals together.

Feriwe’s doodles capture the art of storytelling for children and adults who wish to relive that feeling again. Filled with magic, limitless possibilities, warm comforting love and a healthy obsession with the moon, Feriwe’s work translates to any language. Each work captivates the inner child while conveying a story with depth beyond the borders of the image itself. Whether they are original stories like The Knight of the Moon or animating folklore from the Sumatra people in The Naughty Boy, Feriwe is creating memorable pieces perfect for any age.

It's All Good in the Laser Hood

It's All Good in the Laser Hood

This is not a render. These are hand-crafted photographs of lasers and mirrors reflecting off of each other. With so much focus on digital artists and the seemingly infinite possibilities of computer-rendered 3D images out there, LaseLewLude’s closet constructs bring a level of tangibility to the digital ether. Without detracting from the time, effort, and monetary penance required to create those computer renderings, it’s hard not to see LaserLewDude’s craft as a bargain when considering the sweat equity put into each manipulation. But, if you still want a computer-rendered image, LaserLewDude is willing to meet the audience where they're at…by making some interactive. A truly unique creator which is why larger platforms like SuperRare have taken notice of his immense talent and dedication.

Each UNDRGRND DIGS will feature artists our curators have purchased for the UNDRGRND Collection.
