All of these things may be lost on older and younger generations but for a certain age bracket, these pieces feel like our childhood.

When does a thought become an idea?
Collage, gifs, and the inner workings of the female subconscious. The art of Aempatia bombards viewers with metaphors that come at them like the racing red ball that appears in a few of her works. The ball in Current & Nagging Thoughts races around the image like an anxious thought as an individual with their head down as the ball bounces off her and continues around and around, endlessly beating them down. Aempatia’s work depicts the exhaustion of being human beautifully.
