We lift the curtain in Nutcity's work and find scenes telling stories with a vintage touch, like children's stories portraying characters' innocence framed by the strong morale of evil. The aesthetics of the first years of the 20th century come to mind like a box of memories in which we keep that broken watch, the flower we thought would last if we hid it from the sun, or reminders that we stopped waiting for our lost love. Each collage by Nutcity is a box of memories of a time we did not live through but which fills us with the depicted character's nostalgia.
We must not forget, however, that these memories are universal. We must not fear we mistook the meaning in these stories. Each of these moments is suspended in time and passed down through the generations as reminders of those events that define our existence, not only those unique and beautiful but also those filled with tears that we all wish to hide away.

The evident influence of anime in her illustrations brings with it a very particular characteristic: naivety and joy; not in an empty or superficial way, but that naivety of the early years where dreams seem to be more real and happiness is not an ephemeral fantasy.
The colour palette is intense, the combinations are daring but still have harmony between the elements, where, despite the fact that in most of the pieces her feminine characters keep their eyes closed, you can perceive the emotion, the one that hooks you to the point of being able to feel the wind that touches the face of these shy ladies who avoid the look but exude their dreams through the colours and scents of the cherry blossoms (sukura). Femininity with closed eyes made so that what you see transcends the senses.
Somewhat insolent animations, critiques and portraits of everyday life with a twist of black humour, and a hint of gloom, but not for this reason lacking in sensitivity, I would say just the opposite, because anyone who portrays their environment with such precision is undoubtedly a keen observer whose emotions are amplified in creative moments. So it isreflected in this artwork. The movement of certain elements maintains an attractive loop without being uncomfortable, it is what gives her a peculiar style, that intermittent rhythm of some glances, or that of the insinuating breeze that moves the leaves in the background, even that sparkling light that reveals the fears or nightmares among the illuminated colours, the life of her animations lies in the small details. It is certainly the culmination of the knowledge of the environment combined with a classical style, which makes Picklerez´ artwork as attractive as it is moving.
Heroines wrapped in colour, but marked with strong lines... such is the first impression of Meta is Dope's most recent works, however, her talent has given life to beings with intrusive looks and machiavellian smiles whose silhouettes barely allow us to distinguish a certain humanity in them. Her characteristic lines that resemble threads of emotions manage to connect with the viewer's dark side.
Darkness and discomfort are constant emotions in works of art, but the interesting thing about her vision is that the colour is printed as a devastating force that dominates between the penumbras that are not always in black, we must not forget that all the colours inwards are black and outwards are white, what is between these extremes then? Colour, the colour that shakes us and fills us with energy, just as her works are: a constant adventure, an empowered feminine force.

Mikey Wilson reminds us that all that pretense in this space is bullshit. He reminds us through who he is but also through his art. Mikey’s art adapts other’s work in this space utilizing various AI tools. It embodies the idea of web3 being a community of people who refuse to fit into traditional roles that no longer serve us. Mikey leans towards the punk-folk realm with his works conveying a deep river of thought and emotions bubbling on the surface of his skin. When he reads Sonny’s Blues by James Baldwin, he’ll find a plethora of inspiration that only he could bring to life in web3. - NFTjoe
