New Artists make a splash

Two new members of the Vrbs Artist Residency program caught my eye this week. Uhursu is making street art to improve his neighborhood, creating a welcoming and beautiful space for the community. Check out his introduction video in the post below!

The second that caught my attention is Taroron, creating Vrbish pieces out of his food, with plans to eventually open a Vrbish kitchen!

When my Mom told me stop playing with my food, she was really holding back my creativity and future career as an artist...

Communications Grant Update

Vrbs Insta

Let's give a warm welcome to Travis Sapolin who will run the Vrbs Instagram account! Slowly but surely we are spreading the word to all types of audiences in all types of places!

Vrbs Coffee Socials

If you didn't know, I received funding to build the Vrbs Coffee brand. A major focus of my go-to-market strategy is creating entertaining mascot-driven content. To include the community in this process, I am funding a grant from the Vrbs Coffee marketing budget.

Apply below and let me know if you have any questions!

Where are they now?

Interviewing Vrbs Builders has provided me with a fresh perspective. There are so many different ways to make an impact, and each of these people has done it in their own way. Let's check in on builders featured in past editions of the newsletter!

Vetch - Camp Dost

Vetch (featured in Vrbish #003) used a Vrbs donation to make Camp Dost an immersive and special experience for children with cancer:

Cool Beans - Forest Cleanup

Cool Beans (featured in Vrbish #005) is a testament to consistency.

He has now posted 25 vlogs on YouTube, documenting trash cleanup in a National Forest. Cool Beans taught us about SolarPunk Living and the benefits of Bioregionalism!

Checkout his latest vlog below:

Kishan - Behind the Pixels

Kishan (featured in Vrbish #004) has an update on the video series:

"We’ll be going live with first episode around mid August All the episodes will be up for mints and 100% of the funds will go to Vrbs DAO treasury to be used for artist residency and other programs."

Keep an eye out for the release of the first episode!
