Vrbish #12 - Feeling Based

Welcome back to Vrbish, today's edition is number 12!

As always, there's so much going on in the Vrbs community that it's hard to keep up. That's why Vrbish distills everything that happens in Vrbs into a weekly newsletter!

Help Vrbish grow by sharing the newsletter with a friend. Vrbish is free to subscribe to, and always will be. Our mission is to spread the word, and get more people interested in Vrbs.

This Week in Vrbs

  1. Base Builder Grant

  2. When Art and Acts Collide

  3. Vrbs Hangout is Back

  4. Vrbs Coffee goes cycling for charity

Base Builder Grant

There's no better way to kick off edition #12 than to give a massive shoutout...

Just a few days ago, Base announced that VrbsDAO will be a recipient of their Base Builder Grant. This award is a testament to the unique and powerful systems created by the Vrbs Protocol Team; Woj and Rocketman. It's also a huge vote of confidence in VrbsDAO. I can't wait to see how it will help the DAO do even more good in the world!

When Art and Acts Collide

If you were to look at a pie chart of all the good deeds that Vrbs do, the largest slice would definitely be trash cleanup. Vrbs have been picking up trash in national forests, neighborhoods, and even beaches.

ilustradora must have noticed this trend too, because he created the amazing piece pictured below, "Protect Nature with VRBS."

This crossover of artwork highlighting positive acts by the community is extremely powerful. I believe this combination has huge potential to drive more attention to the DAO and personally would love to see more of it!

Vrbs Hangout is Back!

Another area of focus has been IRL meetups, led by iheartdomains. This was the second Vrbs Hangout, offering free coffee to the first 10 to arrive, free .vrbs domain names, and free pre-rolls in partnership with BluntDAO. I look forward to the video recap (coming out today) and hearing more about the positive discussions that were had and the connections that were made!

Vrbs Coffee goes cycling for charity

Vrbs Coffee Founder (aka me, it feels weird highlighting my own efforts in my own newsletter. It's like being a competition judge and awarding myself the grand prize...) released a vlog on Zora documenting his training for Cycle of Support, a fundraiser supporting children's mental health initiatives in NYC.

I see this as the definition of Vrbs. Doing good and cool things, instead of telling people what our mission is, we show them.

That's it for this week! Stay tuned for exclusive interviews with Vrbs Builders, and all the news from the DAO. See you next week!
