Greetings friends
For those who are receiving this email for the very first time, a very warm welcome from me
I'm very happy that the Generative AI Slack channel curated within the Animoca Brands workspace and shared via Slack Connect very liberally with group companies, partners, and other Gen AI aficionados is connected to 87 workspaces at the time of writing.
Very grateful to all those who are part of this community particularly those individuals who are paying for a paid Slack workspace out of their own pocket.
Privately message me if you want to join this channel though keep in mind that this requires a paid Slack workspace at your end though Slack offers a 3-month free trial
To allow for easier access to this community and recognising that not everyone may have the ability or desire to setup a paid Slack workspace. I am investigating other options besides Slack and one of the options under consideration is a self-hosted Zulip instance https://zulip.com/
If you have an opinion on tooling which can help the community be more inclusive please let me know privately though I'm wary of making it extremely open for example by setting up a Discord server or creating a new free public Slack workspace
For the readers who shall be coming to Hong Kong for ETH HongKong Week, Hong Kong Fintech Week and Apefest, welcome and I hope that we can meet in real life if we haven't done so previously
I hope that many of you will be able to participate in the Zoom meeting co-hosted by me and Ian Rogers, Chief Experience Officer at Ledger with Roope Rainisto on Nov 14th 2023
As always, this email itself will be on the Notion page which collates the previous emails sent to this list/Google Group
Prominent updates in October on the various public Notion pages were

b) Generative AI
I'll be honest that I wasn't able to find interesting material which warranted curation of substantial new content to add on this page.
Since the Slack channel has been reasonably active though I would love to encourage even wider participation what I have attempted to do is to create a sub-page which curates interesting content posted on the Slack channel to enable a level of content sharing with those on this email list who are not members of the Slack channel.
Your feedback on this approach is welcome
I've also been clipping links via WebClipper into this Notion database via this sub-page
The link to the entire page on my curated content on various topics in Generative AI is below
If you would also like to contribute as an editor/curator on certain sub-pages or even the entire page, reach out to me privately with your ideas
I'm consolidating links to my Notion pages via LinkTree so it may be easier to share the below URL to your friends and acquaintances if they wish to access the pages as well as join this mailing list
If you no longer wish to receive these emails, let me know and I shall remove you from the list
As always, I would be very grateful if you could share with me your candid feedback on the content I curate as well as its presentation
Regards, Yusuf
