The Latest at Zerion: New Navigation, Extension 1.2, Web Glow-Up, ZERO

Roundup of the latest releases

gm Zers,

Over the past months, there were so many new releases at Zerion that we needed a separate newsletter for them. In this Paragraph publication, we will share (roughly) monthly updates about the latest releases. Today, we’re talking about new navigation on mobile, new features in the Zerion browser extension, and the web app ‘glow up’.

New navigation on mobile to explore Web3

OGs will remember that Zerion started as a portfolio tracker.

Back in 2020 (ancient history), it was all about DeFi. Tracking your LPs and checking prices.

Since then, Web3 has expanded to include dozens of L2s, all sorts of NFTs, dapps, memecoins, ‘cultural crypto,’ and more.

To help you stay on top of what’s happening in Web3, we’ve completely redesigned the browsing and navigation experience in Zerion Wallet on mobile.

  • Search in Web3: Find dapps, assets, and wallets intuitively with the new powerful search feature.

  • Customizable Home Screen: Add and sort widgets for your favorite dapps, tokens, activities, gas fee tracker, and more.

  • Watched Wallets Screen: Quick access to add, track, and manage your watched addresses.

  • Enhanced Explore Screen: Discover recommended dapps, wallets, top movers, mints for you, and more.

If you haven’t yet tried it yet, you should do so — you don’t even need a wallet at first, just install Zerion and add some wallets to watch (could be yours or anyone else).

Zerion extension 1.2: security checks and more

First released last December, the Zerion browser extension wallet got two major updates.

The latest 1.2 version added:

  • Enhanced security checks during transaction simulation

  • Custom token allowance for Zerion swaps

And shortly before that, the extension got:

  • Improved dApp connectivity

  • Optimized compatibility with other wallet extensions

  • Ability to send NFTs with ease

  • Customized gas price

  • An auto-lock timer

So it’s a good time to give Zerion browser extension another try.

Zerion web app ‘glow up’

Our good old Zerion web app got some extra love from developers across the whole team.

Here are a few highlights:

  • Fancy previews for token pages when you share them on social media

  • Recent addresses in a drop-down menu for sending crypto

  • Favorite buttons everywhere to save your tokens for your watchlist

And more — check out the results.

What’s next

Oh, one more thing: we’re building the ZERO network, our own L2. But it’s too early to talk about it.
