The times we've all been waiting for warpcast and it's memecoins are finally getting the attention and liquidity we knew they deserved. For those outside our little bubble, I wanted to break down some of the coins native to BASE chain and warpcast.
$DEGEN - Is the premier socialfi token on warpcast and now it's very own L3. If you don't know what an L3 is that's fine. It's another consensus layer sitting on top of an L2 often with its own gas token which in this case is $DEGEN. If you want to find out more about $DEGEN head to - https://www.degen.tips/ - for a brief overview. You can earn a bit of $DEGEN yourself through interacting on Warpcast if others decide to tip you with it, but there's no surefire way to farm it.

$HIGHER - β The meme is self-explanatory. Numbers go up, they don't go down. Higher was launched on Warpcast, has built of a decent audience, and its a great ticker. It's my favorite $DEGEN cope play personally.

$BPS - Base Pro Shop team is working hard, but there seems to be a stigma against coins that would normally do well on SOL. I've seen some refer to them as "Milady Coins" which includes $BPS and $NORMILIO. Overall it's a unique memecoin for Warpcast and native to the app.

$TYBG - Thank You, Base God is just an immaculate name for a coin on the BASE chain. While it's not Warpcast native, it has a strong presence on the social app. The primary thesis here is that if $COIN and BASE do well, the token heralding BASE as a savior should reprice higher as well. My only issue is that it has a NFT collection as well rather than a pure token play.

$TN100X - I really want this coin to work out. The dev behind it is a true builder and brought forward a really interesting tipping feature with his "floaties" concept. Unfortunately, there's a massive branding problem here. Originally an NFT project on ETH called LP, now includes a token, multiple nfts, and a few different names. I imagine this pumps at some point, just need to sit through the drawdown.

Upcoming Tokens
Warpcast has two primary tokens launching in the near future; $ONCHAIN and $EARLY
$ONCHAIN - You can find out a ton about this token either through their Notion site or by visiting their Warpcast channel /onchaincoin. In the creators words "$onchain is a bet on the victory of onchain solutions over TradFi, and our support of onchain enthusiasts will continue in various formats." You can check your allocation via frames in the channel.
$EARLY - This is just about as close to speculation as I want to get. Ciniz has casted about a token dropping related to her Onchain Gaias project, but we have no confirmation if they'll directly relate or not. Until that time I'm simply holding my Gaias and hoping that'll net me an allocation.
