These days on Farcaster, some hot events have taken place, and I’m talking about the onchain game, "Stokefire."
Stokefire is a strategy game where the main mission is to keep your village's fire burning. To achieve this, you'll need to use various resources, but watch out for nearby villages, they’ll try to steal your supplies!
When you first join Stokefire (via invitation), you must log in with your Farcaster account. After topping up your account with ETH and $FIRE (the game's native token), you’ll be ready to embark on this new onchain adventure.
As mentioned, the goal of the game is to keep the fire burning. The fire lasts for 72 hours, and you’ll need to fuel it with wood before it goes out; otherwise, you’ll have to start from scratch.
The first thing you need to do when starting out is to gather wood. You can collect wood every 6 hours. Why gather wood? To build huts and attract villagers to live in your village. Each hut costs 10 woods, and each villager consumes 1 unit of food, which is obtained the same way as wood.
Every time you feed the fire (which costs 3 woods), the villagers are also fed. Based on your progress, you’ll earn points, which place you on a leaderboard where users are rewarded with Ethereum!
Make sure to have enough food and wood when it’s time to stoke your village's fire.
Since this is an onchain game, every move you make is recorded on the blockchain. That’s why ETH and $FIRE, as mentioned earlier, are necessary.
Tomorrow, I’ll post about attacks and construction. So stay tuned!
