  • @Philip raised a point about the EU's approach to project collaboration, suggesting that a similar model could be beneficial for social networks and future cities.

1. Zuzalu.City Beta Launch

Zuzalu.city Beta launched! Any communities can now create spaces and run private events (nobody but whitelisted members can see!) on Zuzalu.City with total flexibility, featuring:

1. Customizable credentials and ticketing using smart contracts

2. NFT check-in added to Pass Solutions (such as Zupass)

3. Web2 or Web3 Data flexibility using Ceramic network

Huge thanks to ZuVillage Georgia, Zuitzerland, Cypherhouse for joining ZuCity alpha test! 🎉 ZuCity has gathered amazing feedback and leveled up the event system.

Shout out to ZuGrama and ZuThailand, Lemonade.social and so.la for continous work at user data ownership and interoperability of tools!

These features highlight ZuCity's commitment to privacy, interoperability, ease-of-use for innovative communities to grow and scale.

2. Community Tools Progress Break-down: Socials, Stores, Ads, polling all coming your way in your own communityOS

ZuLand

Simone, core builders.garden, introduces ZuLand was a private, token-gated, decentralized social network where only users with specific credentials can read and write content. Later Enrico showcased how to create discussions and interact with it on Zuzalu.city. They also shouted out tohe support from AKASHA Foundation for being social infra and. Matteo confirmed in the chatbox that encryption for replies and explained additional encryption layers for “beams and reflections”.

LottoPGF

Marco shared their focus on creating a permissionless protocol for lotteries aimed at incentivizing donations for public good funding. They are currently being integrated with Zuzalu.city and under auditing of their contracts. Also, Anyrand VRF, a key piece of infrastructure to deploy LottoPGF on any EVM chain, was launched! Current, LottoPGF is discussing experiment about raising funds for Chiang Mai floodings.

Trustful

Zeugh presented Trustful was making strides in enhancing badge functionality for communities and spaces. Two distinct views are now available:

  • Admin View: Allows admins to create new badge types, issue gated badges, and manage attendee check-in/out.

  • Attendee View: Enables users to grant badges to others, view their own badges, and log in through Scroll for session access.

The team is focusing on Cypher House badge definitions and advancing a scalable, trustless protocol architecture targeted for Q2 2025. Key developments include:

  • A single protocol supporting multiple products

  • Badge import from external systems for on-chain utility

  • Privacy and performance enhancements using zkSnarks and off-chain storage options

CarbonVote & ScrollPass

Reno shared that the Carbonvote integrating various credentials for voting was progressing, with a Farcaster framework in development and direct integration with ZuCity underway. Additionally, the Scrollpass ticketing system will offer a comprehensive flow, covering everything from applications to streamlined ticket issuance and sales, enhancing event management and user experience on ZuCity.

Community Graphs

Jesse provided insights into the implementation of the Transitive Trust protocol and the development of a Discord bot for user interaction. Community Graphs is enhancing Transitive Trust through Community Nodes, where nodes are either users or communities assigning weighted trust based on membership levels and peer ratings. The algorithm is live, and simulations of large social graphs are underway to refine trust dynamics.

Additionally, a Discord Bot now lets users interact with CG directly in Discord, manage pseudonyms, and claim ownership—all without leaving the platform. Plans for a similar Telegram Bot are in progress to further boost accessibility.

Zu.Coffee

Jason introduced new features for zu.coffee module, including a shop module for community merchandise.  Zu.Coffee, a Web3 e-commerce platform, is now integrated into Zuzalu.city, offering seamless decentralized shopping experiences. Designed for rapid deployment, it can be integrated into any website within 30 minutes, making it highly adaptable for community-based and individual projects.

With the frontend, admins can easily upload and manage items through a Racks Contract, allowing for secure, permissionless trading. Community members benefit from an intuitive interface for browsing, purchasing, and collecting items directly on Zuzalu.city. Zu.Coffee supports privacy, security, and integration with wallets like MetaMask, making it an ideal tool for decentralized marketplaces.

Philip introduced Pangea with a focus on data sovereignty and private, secure L1 technology. Pangea is a virtual nation built on Web 4 technologies designed to enhance interactions and transactions across digital infrastructure and beyond. It is a unique upgrade to Web 3 with an innovative digital platform for collaborative governance at multiple scales. Thyhave built total data sovereignty and a bespoke L1 and the'd love to integrate with a decentralised messaging tool.
