We will present practical strategies for AlfaFrens given what we covered in the 101 article.

This is a much shorter article that points you to some existing well known strategies, but also aims to help you think of how to "play" AlfaFrens based on your personal goals and situation.

Before moving along, please don't forget to pray to le blue elefant god.

Inputs:

• Stake $ALFA

• Unstake

• Subscribe with $DEGEN

• Unsubscribe

• Claim $ALFA

Outputs:

• $ALFA allocated to a channel

• Cashback received

As a result, your primary levers are:

• Accruing more $ALFA by subbing to many channels

  • You can do this based on channels with the lowest $DEGEN per $ALFA (DPA)

• Claiming + Staking $ALFA and Unstaking $ALFA (Taimo Boosting)

  • Staking a large $ALFA position in a channel dilutes everyone's $DEGEN cashback in that channel, but increases $ALFA for everyone

  • Unstaking a large $ALFA position in a channel increases everyone's $DEGEN cashback in that channel, but decreases $ALFA for everyone

If you have been following Le Blue Elefant strategy, you likely have built up a stake in your channel and this enables you to utilize a strategy called the Taimo Boost™ (coined by @taimonania). I actually first heard of it from @surewhatever, but he prolly got it from Taimo ;)

Le Blue Elefant strategy is where you:

1. Accrue stake from subbing to channels and then

2. Stake to your own channel => increasing $DEGEN per $ALFA (see above)

3. Incentivizing people to subscribe

4. Increasing $ALFA per $DEGEN incentivizing more stakers.

Taimo boosting is where you:

1. Unstake your large stake position from your channel (or any channel) which increases the amount of cashback each $ALFA earns

2. This incentivizes new stakers (or existing stakers) to stake more to your channel

3. This increases the $ALFA allocated to the channel and incentivizes new subscribers (high $ALFA per $DEGEN)

4. Once you are done, you can stake back to the channel with a greater number of subscribers and stakers, dope!

Given that the multiplier is high (~2.5x) and will decrease over 6 months, accruing $ALFA will get more expensive to accrue every second.

Therefore, it makes sense to accrue a lot of $ALFA while it is cheaper and then utilize Le Blue Elefant strategy along with Taimo boosting to attract subscribers and stakers.

Ultimately, it is important to consider your own personal goals with AlfaFrens, whether this is: delivering alfa to subscribers, garnering attention earning some side income, speculation or pure farming.

This is what should ultimately determine what "strategy" you use and the game you are playing.
