This one can fall in either art or tech, but if guys remember earlier in the summer I took a position on $rare mostly because of what I believe $rare is trying to do is big. After this announcement from Binance it seems some are catching on to what $rare can be for the digital art space (NFA). SuperRare also announced this past week, settling in USDC for their platform which many are happy.

I always enjoy onchain art that looks at your history and based on that determines the style of art you get. Soulbounds does this exact concept with Base Colors.
Tomagatchis (not really the same ppl) are making a comeback but on a new L3. I still think gaming as a whole is how we get more users on to web3 and well the boomer in me really liked my Tomagatchi and I want to try this out haha.
Gaming will onboard the next billion users onchain.

Party rolled out a new feature similar to the ones from Manifold and Transient. Where you an artist can create three pieces and the collector is rolling the dice on which one they get, similar to a vending machine mechanic.
Pods rolled out a referral program for onchain podcasts. One of the struggles of having a longer form podcast is it is hard to share with others unless you really have a ton of free time. With this program now users will get a referral when they shill my podcast to their family members.

Sadly another product has been taken from us by the bear. OnceUpon which I have used in the past to analyze what my patrons are up to onchain so I can better server them is shutting down. But it seems the team is moving on to a new idea similar to the Nook team.
Make sure to participate on Onchain Summer Coffee Days as you can win a slice of 1ETH. Really cool to see big orgs like Base using Rounds to reward their participants and with it all being onchain, it will be seamless.
Now that the payment secure chip on iphones is being opened up by other developers we are getting a ton of rumors of which web3 company will be first to strike on using this tap to pay method. USDC/Circle/Coinbase are very obvious candidates and the ones that I will see succeed first just based on name, size, negotiation power etc. This will be very interesting to see overall based on the amount of credit card points users get here in the USA and might be hard to get us to leave those points just to say we can use USDC to pay for our coffee.

Metamask rolled out a new Mastercard in the UK/EU. Someone really needs to give this and the Gnosis card a run for a bit to see how they compare. Unfortunately since there are not available in the USA, I can't test it for the science.
Telegram is looking to launch a BTC wrapped version on their chain. Telegram continues pumping and this type of move will only continue to increase the demand of BTC. Coinbase is also exploring the same concept on their popular L2 Base.
The Merkle team has been hard at work. I personally appreciate this update as now group chats with an NFT will self clean/regulate themselves. For example with my hypersub, whenever your time expires it will boot you automatically. This makes the overheard really easy compared to before. This may not sound like a ton of work but if you have a large group then this can get intense and a lot of overhead. Now it is all easy, thank you.

With the craze of memecoins still continuing there are definitely winners and losers in the space. But the ultimate winners are the Coingecko and Dexscreener as they are printing cash at this stage. It does make me wonder if a decentralized version could be introduced...
LATEST: @dexscreener is making $150K-$250K daily by charging $300/token to add details like Telegram links and pictures.
