Pacmoon Creator-Centric Model: The Future of Social Farming πŸš€πŸŒ

In the competitive landscape of Web3, a few projects manage to rise above the noise and capture widespread attention. PacMoon is one such project. Riding on the success of the Blast Chain, PacMoon has introduced a revolutionary model that rewards users for creating quality content and engaging with the community. By blending a point system with robust incentive mechanisms like social farming, staking, and referrals, PacMoon is not just gaining users, it is building a passionate, thriving community.

Building on a Foundation: The SocialFi Growth Model

PacMoon's approach draws inspiration from the social farming growth model pioneered by Portal Coin. This model emphasizes building communities around social media accounts where users are rewarded points for engaging with and interacting with content tied to a specific brand. However, PacMoon takes this concept further by focusing on the quality of content rather than just raw activity. While Portal Coin might have rewarded all forms of social engagement, PacMoon specifically rewards "quality content deemed fit by the PacMoon account." This ensures content creators focus on producing valuable and engaging content that resonates with the community.

A Deeper Dive into Pacmoon's Incentive Program

The core of PacMoon's acquisition strategy is based on three key activities that reward users with points:

  1. Creating High-Quality Content: Original content tagged to the @pacmoon_ account, such as videos, tweets, quotes, threads, memes, or any content that contributes positively to the PacMoon ecosystem. All content must be posted on X. PacMoon's unique approach requires the PacMoon account to interact with the tweet for it to qualify for $PAC, ensuring that only high-quality content is verified for the airdrop. The PacMoon team tracks how many views the tweet gets in the next 24 hours; the more views, the more $PAC earned.

  2. Referral Program: Users earn a percentage bonus for referring others to the platform, while the referred user also receives a percentage bonus as long as they meet certain criteria.

  3. Staking Program: Users who deposit tokens in specific partnered projects earn percentage rewards for staking their tokens.

These points translate into tangible benefits. Users with PacMoon points qualify for exclusive airdrops, such as $PAC and Blast Gold.

PacMoon Airdrop Timeline and Tokenomics

The PacMoon team has launched a total of four airdrops from its inception in February until now, offering a total supply of 1 billion $PACs, segmented as follows:

  • Community Airdrop: 40%

  • Community Rewards: 30%

  • Treasury: 15%

  • Contributors: 12.25%

  • Liquidity: 2.75%

The majority of the $PAC airdrop was allocated as community airdrops, directed towards users in Airdrop 1.

Airdrop 1: This began in February and ended on March 8th, rewarding 39% of the total supply to Blast depositors and early access referrers, and 1% to rug victims on the Blast Chain. This airdrop combined the referral point system and staking point system to reward users based on their deposits into the Blast network and the number of users they referred.

PacMoon successfully onboarded 40,000 depositors in ten days, with approximately $682 million in deposits within just three days.

Airdrop 2: Focused on the 30% community rewards directed at users participating in the Creator Program. This airdrop ran from March 14th to March 31st, during this time, the content leaderboard listed users and their cumulative views. The PacMoon team also partnered with several brands, integrating their points system or collaborating with their unique selling points. They partnered with brands like Wasabi Protocol, District one, Thrust and even NFT based projects like Blastrunners PVP.

Airdrop 3: Similar to Airdrop 2, this airdrop also introduced a point boost incentive for users participating in specific shareable tasks.

Over the course of two months, PacMoon mania generated a total of 20 million impressions.

Airdrop 4: This airdrop maintained all components from previous airdrops, such as the top-quality creator rewards system, point boost initiatives, and partnership rewards, while adding the twist of Social Validators. Social Validators changed the PacMoon point system by introducing the concept that the more $PAC you held, the more $PAC you could earn.

With a minimum holding of 10,000 $PAC or $wPAC to become a Social Validator, users could then influence other creators' tweets, earning points in a system where holders determine which content earns points within the drops.

Beyond Points: Airdrops, Gamification, and Community Building

PacMoon employs several additional strategies to create a vibrant ecosystem, including:

  • Strategic Airdrops: PacMoon has implemented targeted airdrops like Create 2 Earn and Social Validators, each designed to incentivize specific behaviors. These airdrops reward both creators and community members who actively participate and contribute to the platform's growth.

  • Blast Network Integration: Users who deposit on the Blast Network, a high-speed transaction blockchain, earn points within the PacMoon ecosystem. This incentivizes participation within the broader Blast ecosystem, potentially attracting new users to both platforms.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Collaborations with other brands and platforms allow users to earn points by engaging with their partners' point systems, broadening the scope of the incentive program and providing more opportunities to accumulate points.

  • Gamification: Leaderboards, airdrop structures, and comparisons to popular creators like Beeple and Mooncat inject a competitive and fun spirit into the point system, keeping users engaged.

  • Social Validation: By empowering $PAC holders to influence content recognition through likes, PacMoon fosters a sense of ownership and encourages active community participation.

Key Actions for Users

How it works:

  1. Tweet about Pacmoon

Important Points to consider

These are the basic rules to follow to receive your Pacmoon rewards.
Do not:

  • Ask for likes from $PAC holders you do not know.

  • Tag Pacmoon in tweets where the main focus isn’t Pacmoon.

  • Add more than one tag to your tweets.

  • Like tweets from your alt account or conspire with others to share points.

Looking Forward: The Future of PacMoon

PacMoon's dedication to high quality UGCs and community engagement sets them apart in the competitive world of Web3 projects. Their innovative approach to social media integration, point systems, and gamified airdrops provides a valuable blueprint for building and sustaining thriving communities in the decentralized space.
