Holy sh*t we are already almost 4 months into 2024?? How time flies when we are halving (wink wink) fun, eh?
I think it's good to take stock of everything The Burrow has been up to these 4 months, I intend to put my thoughts down and publish them more frequently (mostly to hold myself accountable). Let's see how that goes!
January 2024
The year started off on a good note, we welcomed our youngest owl to The Burrow. Ryan collected 2 1/1s from our drop Pluralize - Pause, marking the first sale from the collection in over a year.

February 2024
February was an interesting month.
We took our first steps into the world of Solana - applied for and received our first grant from Superteam India. This grant will be used to build public goods, help onboard more South Asian artists to Solana.
March 2024
We got onboarded to DRiP Haus, a revolutionary platform on Solana that uses the compressed NFT technology, making minting and distributing art really inexpensive. The founder and CEO, Vibhu moves away from the traditional scarcity model and believes in the scale of distribution. When he says scale, he is really talking scale! DRiP has given away art to millions of subscribers on the platform so far. It is a fascinating distribution model for artists, helping them find their audience. There is a lot to write about DRiP, topic for the next article.

The busiest month this year and it's not over yet!
Started off by displaying some of our artworks on a huge (yes, yuuuuge) screen on the Times Square during the NFT NYC week. Priyanka and Dipanjan being there in person to document our 10 seconds of fame really helped!
We submitted a project for the Solana Renaissance Hackathon, along with 8000+ builders. This was possibly the most difficult thing we did in our web3 journey so far. Shout out to Aditya from the Superteam India team for being the sounding board and also helping out with the right resources at the right time. His twitter bio is an accurate description of what he does best.
We also entered DRiP's Renaissance side track - Future of Collectibles on Solana and won the 3rd prize!!!
The Burrow wins third@theburrownft by @bombaymalayali is a thriving collective with 100+ South Asian successful artists on Ethereum and Solana.
Huge congrats to the team for winning $2,500.

Launched Based Parliament: a weekly showcase of art drops on Base, curated by our parliament of owls.

Snow quickly did his thing by minting an edition each from the drop, making him the first patron to have artworks from all our drops since 2022!
And just minutes before publishing this, another long term patron Hipsey minted as well! It's a gm indeed!
