If you’ve ever dreamed of wielding your own custom lightsaber, now you can—inside a Frame. Lightsabers! is the first v2 Frame from @vivacious, allowing users to design and share custom Star Wars-inspired lightsabers directly on Farcaster.

What is Lightsabers!?

Lightsabers! is a fun and interactive Frame that lets users:

• Select from 3 different hilt variations.

• Customize blade color using an RGB sliding scale for endless options.

• Easily share their lightsaber with friends on Farcaster.

This first version is purely for customization and sharing, but there’s an exciting onchain minting feature planned for the future.

Why I Like Lightsabers!

The creator, @vivacious, is a Web3 developer and Frame Builder on Warpcast. Recently, they’ve built a guide Frame for POIDH, a fun game Frame where you guess what old objects were used for, and even shared a Check Your Horoscope Frame. Based on this active building streak, I’m confident that with more interest and feedback, the Lightsabers! Frame will evolve into something even cooler.

One of the most impressive things about this Frame is how quickly it came to life! Less than 10 days ago, @christopher casted an image of an old lightsaber app in the 'someone-build' channel, saying “someone build this it would be so sick.” Within days, @vivacious had a fully working version inside a Frame. This is a perfect example of how rapidly developers are iterating with Frames on Farcaster, turning ideas into real experiences in no time.

For me, part of what makes this Frame fun is the nostalgia factor. Growing up a Star Wars fan, I’ve always loved anything related to Star Wars, and this brings that experience right into Farcaster in a seamless, shareable way.

It’s always fun to see pop culture merged with new tech, and Frames are quickly making these interactive experiences more accessible than ever.

Would I Use It Again?

I will be keeping an eye on this one. Lightsabers! is a great example of how Frames can go beyond simple interactions and offer customization, personalization, and soon, minting.

The big question: Will this expand into an even deeper experience—such as battles or unique saber designs? If so, I could see this becoming a must-try Frame for Star Wars fans and digital collectors alike.
