Kerim Safa releases new series on Objkt:
Kerim Safa has released a wonderful five-piece series on Objkt entitled 'Pattern Cycling'. A collection of animation studies featuring illusory simple shapes created by time-phasing custom dithering patterns with varying pixel densities, each piece is constructed by creating a simple pattern and shifting the timelines of the animations for each surface to create the illusion of 3D forms.
Upcoming on (fx)hash:
I've been a fan of @Pixelwank's work for quite some time, and I'm really looking forward to his upcoming release, 'Allegro'. I'd encourage readers to scroll through some of the variations in what looks to be a beautiful series, scheduled to drop on Friday.
