'Constructions Mentales' by Hevey:

In generative artist Hevey's newest release on fx(hash), 'Constructions Mentales' (x/444, 25 xtz), every element serves as a metaphor, offering a glimpse into the labyrinth of the human psyche.

The chaotic cluster of eroded, disordered architectural structures symbolizes the resilience and fragility of our mental constructs, shaped by memories, experiences, and societal conditioning. Barred windows and confined figures represent limiting beliefs and repressed emotions, while a hanging figure evokes sacrifice and stagnation. This work invites viewers to confront the forces shaping their inner world, fostering reflection, reorganization, and the pursuit of transformation.

'Collective Tissue (A6)' by Ken Wiatrek:

A new physical series by Ken Wiatreck (@kenconsumer) has been released via Objkt.

'Collective Tissue' is a digital art series exploring the inter-connectedness of life. "From the microscopic intricacies of human biology to the vast networks of global society, the series delves into themes of fragility, resilience, and evolution," the artist writes.

"By blending organic and technological elements, the artwork aims to provoke thought about the delicate balance between nature and human innovation."

The 1/1 NFTs serve as COA for the corresponding physical pieces. Pieces in the series are available for 100 xtz.

IRL: 'Electric Dreams' at Tate Modern

Electric Dreams: Art and Technology before the Internet -- on display at Tate Modern in London through June 1, 2025 -- brings together groundbreaking works by a wide range of international artists who engaged with science, technology and material innovation. Experience the psychedelic environments they created in the 1950s and 60s, built using mathematical principles, motorized components and new industrial processes. See how radical artists embraced the birth of digital technology in the 1970s and 1980s, experimenting with machine-made art and early home computing systems.

One of Tate Modern’s most ambitious exhibitions to date, Electric Dreams offers visitors a rare chance to experience incredible works of vintage tech art in action – a look back at how artists imagined the visual language of the future.

You can also read more from Suzanne Treister, a pioneering media artist featured in the exhibition, on Le Random, in this interview with Peter Bauman (Monk Antony). 👇
