Aux Arbres #8411 by Zancan, part of a free mint going on now. (More details below.)
Welcome!
While on my recent (and much needed, still ongoing) Twitter sabbatical, I stayed up-to-date by reading @gorillasun's newsletter (among others) and luckily hopped on Farcaster/Warpcast after he highlighted it a couple of weeks ago. It's been such a refreshing vibe, reminiscent of the old H=N and early OBJKT days.
But with things being a little all over the place, I decided to put together a periodic newsletter to highlight some available fx(hash) mints, showcase recently collected and/or available work across various marketplaces, and pass along resources and various finds, etc.
I imagine this will evolve (if anyone is interested in reading it to begin with, that is), so please feel to offer any suggestions. For now, I'm just going to wing it. 😉
I saw Pierre Pauze's "DRAW ME A BULL" series on Warpcast one evening on @kugusha.eth's feed and woke up thinking about it the next day, knowing then I needed to revisit it. After a little contemplation, I went with #12 in the 37-piece series that blends AI generated models with hand-painted fictive representations, challenging the distinction between raw data and human intervention in crafting the patterns. The release also marks the artist's first solo exhibition, held at the Showroom in Berlin.
100% of primary proceeds go directly to International Network for Aid, Relief, and Assistance for the medical and mental health needs of children in Gaza.
Caught my eye:
With all the great art coming across my Warpcast feed (again, like old times!), here are a few (slightly) older pieces that I've recently minted or collected from the marketplace on fx(hash).
I wasn't familiar with Luciana Guerra's body of work, but when I saw "Dancing with my monsters II" I took note. Although that piece is not available at the moment, another, "Linear time lapse" (pictured below), is available on Objkt, curated by Fakewhale.
I'm really excited to see what artists and content creators do with Fabric, a hypersub (subscription NFTs) and crowdfi (onchain crowdfunding) platform. Here's an example from geometric abstraction artist @mbranson, who just announced a hypersub with monthly airdrops, early access to future drops, entry into raffles and more.
