2025 is off to a hot start with our second track from Zeds Dead.

This comes on the back of Vandelux's debut album "Where the Light Breaks" with over 125m streams on Spotify alone.

We gave a 2x COOP point airdrop to everyone who collected our recent albums, including full projects from Daniel Allan, LP Giobbi and Salute on top of the ones mentioned above.

In short - the Coop Records product is going to be getting a massive overhaul in the coming months. It starts with the introduction of staking next week - where holders can stake their songcoins to earn extra COOP points.

From there - we'll start to roll out our voting system that lets COOP holders dictate which of our collectibles get upgraded to song tokens on cooprecs.fun.

In short - the flywheel for Coop Records really starts to click when we create strong sinks for songcoins which are offered as rewards for buying collectibles. Think of it as earning cash-back for supporting artists, but if the cash back was in a liquid token of that song.

We've been working closely with Boost on the launch of their v2 protocol, and have a big project in the works to make our campaigns as seamless and automated as possible. We're going to combine this with a more robust COOP points system through Stack - including additional ways to earn from Hypersub and for artists dropping on Coop Recs.

All that is a long way of saying we've got our word cut out for us this year. Everything we just mentioned doesn't even scratch the surface on how we start to get real fans onchain.

But what I've come to realize is that before we can go get the rest of the world, the foundation has to be rock solid. There needs to be a clear story around why you would want to collect, and a means of earning your first few collectibles and tokens for free for being a fan of the artist (or our music in the first place).

So stay tuned - we've got some amazing artist lined up for January and a big year to come.
