Coop Records Weekly - The Coop Records Platform is here!

This week marked a major next chapter for Coop Records with the debut of our new platform - cooprecords.xyz

We wanted to create a home base for our catalog and a more holistic experience around all the music and artists we're working with. It's built using Sound, Boost and Stack under the hood and combines collecting open editions with token rewards and loyalty points.

Nothing too crazy but it's more about having a solid foundation to point people towards when they ask what we're up to. Here's everything you need to know.

In other news - we wrapped up our Onchain Summer event series "The Midnight Diner" this week in LA.

With 3 events under our belt, we had performances from 33 Below, Daktyl, Jigitz, Daniel Allan, tesh, Lyrah and DJ Strawberry - all of which were minted onchain and airdropped to our Midnight Diner Pass holders.

Step into the Midnight Diner in Koreatown this Summer in LA. This AA Pass grants you access to all 3 events - happening the first Wednesday of every month. Featuring chef's choice secret lineups - this mysterious series promises unexpected delights curated by Coop Records.

The best part of this series is it opened up a lane for us to start debuting more live content - expanding the pipeline of music content on Coop Records. It also gives us a perfect backbone to do the hard work of manually onboarding people using Base Smart Wallets.

At every show - we ask people to download a Smart Wallet and collect a POAP to get a free drink and dumpling wristband. This converted 200 people here in LA who had never touched crypto before and gave us a ton of insights into what onboarding actually looks like.

We're keeping a super close eye on the new Zora mint modal which just dropped - and are fascinated by the potential to create secondary market for open editions.
