We brought 13 new tracks onchain from returning artists Kasbo, pluko, LNRZ, Baker Grace, inthemeadows and 33 Below.
This comes in tandem with our first drops from Daktyl, BKAYE, Alec King and a new anonymous project Noise Control.
Our largest emphasis is on electronic music - specifically with artists building a base out of LA or the UK.
We're going to be announcing a new event series in the coming weeks, creating a space here in LA for our records to be performed live alongside a music-centric fan base. Stay tuned for details!
In other fun news - Ep 1 of the Coop Records podcast went viral, receiving support from Onchain Daily and now sitting at 16k mints.
That set the stage for our new episode with the team behind Sonata - the first Farcaster music client Coop Records helped incubate.
ICYMI - we started using Coinvise to offer rewards when you collect our content - complementing the campaigns we are running on Boost and Layer3.
Finding new and creative ways to support our artists onchain without them having to digest a whole new world is something we take very seriously - allowing them to feel welcomed without having to add another platform like Sound to their to-do list on places they need to promote themselves.
Overall, we've found ourself in a great groove. We're onboarding new talent every week, consistently developing acts who are leaning in and pushing the envelope on how to maximize mints and attention.
